HOW TO WEAR YOUR FAVOURITE DRESS THROUGH EVERY SEASON

Hello lovelies,

If you've been following my blog or Instagram, you now my obsession with midi & maxi dresses but this dress has completely blown me away. It's probably my favourite dress of the year now, haha. I'm gonna be wearing this dress a lot as it's quite pricey and I feel like I have to make the most out of it! I know on Instagram it seems like I'm not wearing the same clothes again but let's be honest, who does that?! Lol! Do it for the gram... haha!

Anyways, the material is very thin and not elastic and it comes with a yellow mini underdress. The material is light so it's basically the perfect dress for summer nights. I transformed it into an autumn dress by exchanging the underdress with a black jersey dress, which is a bit warmer and paired it with a leather jacket, which is an absolute staple in your transitional wardrobe. When this is still too cold for you, why not just put some black tights on?!
Moving on to the shoes, is it just me or do Vans just go with every outfit?! Even with this maxi dress!!! I'm loving it and let's be honest, it's much better to be comfortable especially with a day time outfit. You could also just pop some heels into your bag and transform it into a night time outfit, of course! I would probably wear black heels with it - Black is the answer to everything!
So now you can take out your favourite summer dress and bring it back as an autumn favourite! I'm linking the dress below for you guys!

Have a great rest of the week!!!

COLOUR BLOCKING

This autumn I'm really embracing colour... I'm loving all types of yellow tones, reds and I even dare to wear royal blue, which is very surprising for me. I just felt like bringing out all the happy colours and why not brighten up a dull day with a bit of colour?! Especially here in London it's much needed!
I'm also quite a fan of the checkered trend when I discovered this fishtail skirt, it's just so timeless and fits with everything. You can even dress it down and wear with Vans and a t-shirt and you'll still look bomb! Colour blocking can be tricky as there are so many different colours and styles out here but I summed up the 3 most important tips for you:

1. Number of colours

Only use up to 3 colours as it'll be way too much going on if you'd go for more and one wouldn't be able to focus on the actual outfit.

2. No coloured patterns/ prints

If you choose patterns or prints, be sure to use one coloured or very subtle colours.

3. Colour scheme

Try to choose colours the compliment each other just like yellow and blue plus grey as a neutral colour, or for example red, black & white.

I hope this helped and now go and get those colours out!

Confidence & Body Image

Today I want to talk to you about confidence and body image... It's a topic that I see on more and more social media posts and blogs because people are just as tired of what society tells us to look like and not. It's actually sad that people still think we're supposed to look like the girls walking down South Beach in Miami with their bums done and fat transfers on their stomach. The superficial world out there everyone seems to be obsessed with here in London for whatever reason. What most people don't see is that it has developed an insecurity seeing those 'perfect' bodies for some of us. There are loads of Instagram accounts out here making others feel like they don't look fine, they need to hit the gym more and starve themselves or even get surgery. I even know a few people who are trying to get off IG because it's not good for their mental health. Don't let society dictate on what you have to look like and not, as long as you watch your health, you're fine. If someone is trying to judge you, they don't deserve your attention. It's mostly people who are unhappy with themselves and are trying to transfer it on you. It's sad but so true and I experienced this a few times.

"The most alluring thing a woman can have is confidence."
Beyonce

At the end of the day, it's about how you feel comfortable in your body and how you accept it and show it that way, that's how you develop confidence. No matter how much you weigh, what size you are, how tall or short you are, how your hair or skin looks and if you don't have abs or a nice round booty- You're still good enough and no one can take that from you! Remember that.
